This policy explains how Lucro ("Lucro", "we", "us") handles information in the Lucro app and on this website. We built Lucro so it works without collecting personal data, and this policy describes exactly how.
1. What we collect
We do not collect personal data through the app. We don't have user accounts, and the app doesn't send your wallet, your searches or your activity to us or to anyone else. This matches the "Data Not Collected" privacy label on our App Store listing.
2. What stays on your device
To work, Lucro saves the following in private storage on your phone. It never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.
- Which cards you carry, nicknames, and optional last 4 digits
- Your category picks, quarterly activations, spending caps and favorites
- Your first name (optional), used only to greet you, and your app settings
- Recent lookups and simple counts used to show your stats in Profile
- "Wrong card?" reports you write
Lucro never asks for full card numbers, bank usernames or passwords, and it never connects to your bank accounts.
3. When Lucro uses the internet
The app makes one kind of request on its own: it downloads the public card catalog (card names, reward rules and store categories) so your answers stay current. That request contains no information about you or your wallet. Like any web request, the server that hosts the file can see standard technical details such as your IP address; our host uses them only to deliver the file and protect its service.
When you tap Submit on a feedback or request form, the app sends what you entered to us (see section 5).
If you tap Activate now or View source, Lucro opens your bank's or card issuer's website in your browser. What happens there is covered by that company's privacy policy, not ours.
4. Notifications
Deadline reminders are optional. Lucro asks your permission when you have a card with quarterly deadlines, and you can turn them off any time in Profile. They are scheduled locally on your phone from your wallet. We don't run a notification server and don't receive any device token.
5. Backups and feedback
When you save a backup, Lucro creates a file and hands it to your phone's share sheet. It goes wherever you choose (for example iCloud Drive or Files) and is covered by that service's terms. Backups contain your wallet settings, never card numbers.
Feedback is only sent when you tap Submit on a "Wrong card?", "Request a store" or "Request a card" form. It contains what you typed or picked there (for example the store, the card Lucro suggested and the rate it showed), plus the app and catalog version. It doesn't include your name, your wallet or any contact details. It is delivered to our inbox through Web3Forms, an email-forwarding service, and we use it only to fix and improve Lucro.
6. If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to improve Lucro, we don't add you to marketing lists unless you ask (for example, to be told when Lucro launches), and we delete it when it's no longer needed. Please don't send card numbers or passwords.
7. This website
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no forms that collect data. Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to operate and secure the site.
8. Children
Lucro is meant for adults who use credit cards. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
9. Your choices
Because your data is stored only on your device, you're always in control. You can edit or remove anything in the app, use Profile, then Erase all data to delete everything, or delete the app. We don't hold a copy, so there's nothing for us to delete or hand over. If you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, just ask.
We don't sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how Lucro handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change would mean collecting data we don't collect today, we'll explain it clearly in the app before it takes effect.
